Our Immersion day!
Today Prep A had a wonderful time during our
Immersion session for our new Inquiry for this term. Our Inquiry this term is
titled 'Hip Hip Hooray it's our 60th Birthday" with an emphasis on
community celebrations: especially St. Mary's Parish 60th birthday. Today the
children got to participate in a variety of celebration, fairy tale and
measurement themed activities which reflects our writing of fairy tales and our
measurement focus in mathematics. The kids had a ball! A big thank you to our
parent helpers for recording our wonderings and for assisting with some of the
activities. Our activities included: a gift wrapping station, play doh cake
making, party invitation making, birthday party table, wedding dress ups
corner, fairy tale costumes and castle and so many more! View the slideshow
